"My passion for animal welfare has been a guiding force in my life. Growing up in Seoul, my journey began as a young boy always seeing dogs tied to their dog houses outside, specially during winter. This began my journey to take action in small but significant ways, like untying and sneaking my neighbor's dog into my warm home during cold nights - needless to say, my parents were not happy. This early experience shaped my empathy and care towards animals. My parents eventually got me a dog, Tommy. Unfortunately, the joy of having my own pet was short-lived, as he was stolen, leaving a lasting impact on me.

Throughout my career, despite extensive travel and the demands of professional life, my connection with animals never faded. I've always found ways to engage with them, whether it was walking a hotel manager's dog where I regularly visited and stayed in Canada or sharing playful moments with stray dogs in Seoul. These experiences have only deepened my commitment to animal welfare.

I believe in creating a world where every pet receives the love, care, and security they deserve. I sit in a very unique position to really make a difference in pet care. With a team of some of the best people in the field, I'm ready to make things better for pets. At the same time, I want to make sure that the people who own the pet businesses thrive and build upon their legacy like never before.

I can and I will make this a win for everyone - happy pets, successful business owners, and a better pet care world. I'm excited to lead this change and make a big positive impact."
